- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Geat staff that makes the trip worth stopping in for but the wine is very good also and they have a few sweet ones that most of the other winery's in the area do not. They also make an incredible ice wine that's reasonable priced. If you are a chocolate lover they have a small section of delightful treats including a dark chocolate bar covered in crushed espresso beans that's goes great with the wine and gives you the little boost of energy needed to continue the wine trail.By eric archer, October 09, 2016
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆We went with out of town friends as part of our Essex County wine tour. We made reservations for lunch and reconfirmed. When we arrived our table wasn't ready - they wanted to seat us by the door, but we said we would wait while they cleared another table. Our waitress promptly served us water and gave us menus. She took our order promptly. An hour later she returned to tell us they had run out of chicken - one person ordered it. First, why did it take so long we asked - Apparently the kitchen lost or didn't receive our order! Totally unacceptable. My friend changed his order to a burger and we voiced our displeasure - she said she would see about getting us a discount. Half an hour later still no food! She brought us more wine - not what we wanted or needed. She said the burger was just being prepared - after we had already waited 1 1/2 hours!!! Finally we get our food - which was good and she The only discount was one free glass of wine each - hardly enough. Then we went to the wine tasting area. Another disappointment We were told it was $1 per taste - we told the person we had just had lunch so he didn't charge us. But only gave us each a few drops of two wines - hardly enough to taste.
